Generation One
overview
GenerationOne’s mission is to end the disparity between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians in one generation through education and employment.
After growing up with talented, smart indigenous kids in Carnarvon and then witnessing their suffering under the racism of low expectations, particularly their own, Andrew was determined to end the disparity between indigenous and non-indigenous Australians in one generation through employment. This is GenerationOne’s mission.
Originally financially supported by a number of business leaders such as Andrew and Nicola Forrest, James Packer, Kerry Stokes and Lindsay Fox, and many others who wanted to make a difference, it is now fully funded by the Minderoo Foundation.
challenge
National Campaign – 2 years
The GenerationOne movement was launched onto a national platform with simultaneous digital light projections performed on prominent buildings in capital cities across Australia. We delivered a world first – live, interactive, digital projection onto the sails of the Sydney Opera House as part of the Award winning ‘Launch Event of the Year’. We were recognised for our creative excellence and seamless delivery of the launch of not-for-profit organisation GenerationOne.
Campaign inclusions: National launch events, roadshows, Calendar of brand activations across retail, festivals, public holiday events, music events, etc, over a 2 year period plus 2 Branded coaches with indigenous ambassadors travelling to regional centres meeting with business and government.
At the same time, we kicked things off across the nation with simultaneous projection mapping spectaculars in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide.
